What Comes Next for Weddings?
As we mentioned before, we're humble artists, not psychics, but it's pretty clear that we will all be living in a new normal for the next few months or even years. Our couples have already had to make decisions around their wedding days for postponements or adjustments to comply with the new normal of limited guest lists and unique wedding approaches. But don't miss the point! People are very much continuing to show their love through their weddings, just in different ways than they expected. Some couples are self-uniting with only their parents as witness. Others are having drive by processions so their friends & family can cheer them on from the safety of their cars. And small scale events are on the horizon.
If a big celebration with hundreds of friends and family surrounding you on the dance floor was your vision, but getting married to the love of your life is your priority, a scaled down celebration might be right for you. We've had the chance to photograph events ranging in size from two person elopements to twelve person micro weddings to three hundred guest blow-outs! And we love each and every one, because our clients are awesome!
But if we are having an honest moment, there is something so magical about an intimate wedding shared with only the most important and permanent of people in a couple's life. There are so many moments for us to capture and the emotions are always running high!
